Maura Davidson Weddings was established in 2015 out of a love for portrait photography and a desire to create art as a service to others. While studying for her degree, owner and lead photographer Maura Davidson frequently visited the west coast and fell in love with simple yet luxury styles of photography, design, and bridal fashion.
Today, Maura resides with her husband Chase and two dogs near Athens, Georgia. Outside of photography, you can find her working in the garden, taking a yoga class, traveling, cooking from scratch, or scouting new trends. She is a follower of Jesus and credits all of her success back to Him.
Maura offers digital + film photography that blends seamlessly together for the couple looking for an artistic, timeless, documentary set of memories from their wedding day. She has been told that she is a calming presence with the energy to ignite magical moments with her subjects. Not only for her couples, but for their families, closest friends and dearest guests.
